NanOsc AB is a start-up company spun off from KTH Royal
Institute of Technology in Kista, Sweden.
NanOsc's primary focus is the development of novel
microwave and sensor technologies based on nano-spintronics and
nano-magnetism.
NanOsc develops magnetodynamic characterization tools,
such as its recently launched PhaseFMR instrument, which brings
affordable turn-key magnetodynamic characterization of thin
magnetic films and magnetic nano-structures to the
market.
NanOsc has wide competence in thin film deposition and
lithography processes and provides consulting services such as i)
deposition of magnetic, non-magnetic, metal, insulator, and
semiconducting thin films, ii) processing of such films using both
e-beam and optical lithography, and iii) structural and functional
characterization of thin films and nano-structures.
NanOsc is an active partner in a number of European
research consortia, focusing on future nano-spintronic and sensor
technologies.
Science, March 15, 2010. NanOsc is proud to report that results
on its nano-contact spin torque oscillators have been published in
the prestigious journal Science. This is the first time that
magnetic droplet solitons have been observed experimentally. Since
they have record high precession angles, they hold great promise
for much larger output power in spin torque oscillators.

NanOsc will showcase its PhaseFMR instrument at the upcoming
Amercian Physical Society March Meeting in Baltimore, USA, March
18-22, 2013.
NanOsc's showcased PhaseFMR at the 12th Joint MMM/Intermag
conference in Chicago, USA, January 14-18, 2013. This represented
the international launch of PhaseFMR and the interest for PhaseFMR
was very high.
