The CryoFMR product line

If you want to do broadband FMR analysis over temperature with a cryostat then this is the product line for you. Three CryoFMR models cover different frequency ranges, all starting at 2 GHz.

Our cryogenic spectrometers come prepared for integration with the Quantum Design PPMS platforms and the MPMS3.

The ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) of a magnetic thin film is a fundamental property for any high-frequency magnetic and spintronic application, such as hard drive read-heads, MRAM, spin torque MRAM, and spin torque oscillators. PhaseFMR measures the ferromagnetic resonance at different applied magnetic fields and its analysis software extracts:
  • Saturation magnetization (Ms)
  • Gyromagnetic ratio (γ/2π)
  • Anisotropy (Hk)
  • Intrinsic damping (α)
  • Inhomogeneous broadening (ΔH)
Its measurements also enable the user to extract the exchange stiffness (A) and inverse spin Hall effect (ISHE) with an optional dedicated CPW.
